Kingdom Kids

The East Side Children’s Ministry offers opportunities for your grade school children in grades K-5 through 5th grade to experience God’s love in action as they study the Bible in a fun and exciting way. Our Children’s Ministry combines Bible study, games, memory verses, and worship to help your child grow in their relationship with Jesus.  We also have a ministry to families with babies on Sunday mornings with nurturing and loving child care workers. The church provides a safe and secure environment of love and learning. There are planned activities for children and their families throughout the school year and summer. Our summer activities include: Vacation Bible School, various outings, and camp.

We also have a children’s choir that meets throughout the year on Sundays. They present multiple music presentations throughout the year.

Girls in Action (GA’s)

This is a mission’s discipleship organization for girls that meets during the summer months. Every girl in grades 1 – 6 can be a part of GA’s! Through GA, girls learn about, pray for, give to, and do missions work. They also make new friends and have lots of fun.

Royal Ambassadors (RA’s)

This is also a mission’s discipleship organization for boys in grade 1-6 that meets during the summer. Through hands-on activities that encourage spiritual growth, games and sports, and mentoring relationships with RA leaders, RA members become a faith-based brotherhood.

Bible Study Fellowship

Bible Fellowship classes are important at East Side. Our classes are designed to help you connect with others, acquire life principles, grow in your walk with the Lord Jesus, and to build lasting friendships. You will learn how to live out the truths of the Bible where it really counts, your daily life. As you study the Bible with others who are facing many of the same stages of life, you will be encouraged and experience Christian fellowship that makes a difference. Join Bible Study Fellowship and be a part of the excitement of learning to live out your faith in a way that makes a real difference. Bible Study Fellowship classes are offered on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am.  We also offer small groups during the week with topics like “Managing Your Money,”  “Fireproofing Your Marriage,” and “Raising Kids in a Difficult World.”

Around the corner or around the world, sharing the Gospel is the privilege and responsibility of every believer. Jesus gave us our direct marching orders in Matthew 28:18-20. With the monetary contributions and tithes of our membership, we assist missions locally, nationally and globally through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention. In addition, to the SBC monetary arm of outreach, we support additional mission efforts around the globe. With our prayers, we support individual missions, ministries and works around Liberty and Easley, the state of South Carolina, the USA and the globe. Then some of us go from our local congregation to share the Gospel. Each member has the opportunity to play an important role in reaching the world for Christ. Pray, Give, and Go!

East Side is active in missions in a variety of ways. From local outreach to short term trips across the world there are opportunities for you to be involved in missions and helping to share the Gospel with others.  Listed below are just some of our on-going mission efforts.
